Mission: We are a non-profit foundation 501-(c)(3) with centers itself on moral ethics and values to assist families at not cost. Providing the community with educational and preventive programs designed to orient families in a time of need.

The Office of Family Life's staff and volunteers are dedicated to meeting the needs of families.
Moreover, we validate the family as holy in all of the various dimensions that constitute the family unit. We recognize the multi cultural make-up of our Diocese, and as such offer services and programs in English and Spanish, that provide education, resources, and support to families, during times of transition as well times of crisis.

Rapha family Services, Inc. is a 501- (C) (3), faith-based, Private, Non-Profit Social Services agency, which was established in July 2007, by Anneze Barthelemy Brown and Althea Hodge-Jaboin. The agency is dedicated to improve the lives of families by providing them with the necessary tools needed to succeed; such as parenting classes, parent support groups, child abuse prevention, life skills, abstinence classes, family mentoring, referrals, recruiting and training of foster families and Case Management Services.

With the “Dare to Be You” activities, particapants develop self-esteem and improve communication and problem-solving skills within the family.

In our Strong Families Healthy Marriage Initiative, we are utilizing the Keys to a Healthy Marriage Curriculum--A faith focused curriculum approved by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The curriculum teaches problem solving and communication skills to singles and couples to increase the likelihood that they will form and sustain healthy marriages.

- English & Spanish training for couples getting married for the first time.
- English & Spanish training for couples living together who want to have a marriage blessed by the Church.
- English & Spanish training for couples that were married before (civilly, under another denomination, or have annulled their marriage) and are getting married for the second time by the Catholic Church.
- English & Spanish training for couples that have ended their marriage and still need to deal with unresolved issues.
- Loss and bereavement groups for persons that have lost a loved one.

We partner with churches, schools, and other community agencies to establish outreach to families by utilizing science-based curricula to provide faith-based education, training, and family-building programs that help to develop and enhance positive skills in parents and their children.
